This experimental video came to be by asking myself the question: how can sound and video effects give a new meaning to a sequence of moving images? I wanted to give myself the challenge to make a visualisation of nature by using natural sounds over abstract images. My goal wasn’t for the viewer to recognise nature as they know it in the images. It was more important to me to create a new kind of nature.
The video tells a story about how nature comes to life once a quiet winter world turns into spring. Plants and trees begin to grow again, animals start to venture outside and water starts flowing through the creeks.
